About Fair Practice
Fair Practice covers 14 kinds of health practice, from dentists, GPs and pharmacies to physiotherapists, optometrists and speech pathologists, with a list for every town, suburb and state where enough practices are rated.
A rating reflects patients’ experience, not clinical quality or qualifications. For registered professions, you can check a practitioner’s registration with Ahpra before you book.
Fair Practice ranks Australian health practices by their Google rating, adjusted for how many reviews stand behind it, so a handful of perfect reviews doesn’t outrank hundreds of strong ones.
Fair Practice is run by the Fair Practice team and has been published since 7 October 2026. It lists 30,849 businesses in 1,740 lists, with figures as of October 2026.
Ratings, review counts and opening hours come from Google Business Profiles. The year a business started comes from its own website.
